　　I’d like to describe an occasion where I wore the best clothes. It happened this January. At that time, I was attending our annual corporate party and everyone was asked to dress formally. To be honest, I was really looking forward to this event where I could have dinner with my colleagues and that’d be a lot of fun. But I hated this dress code because I don’t like dressing up and I don’t have any formal clothes!

　　So right after I got the invitation, I called my friend Alex. Actually, we’ve been friends for years, and he’s from a rich family, and more important, he’s got tons of different clothes in his wardrobes. We are about the same height and build, so I thought I could borrow something from him to wear for the occasion. I went to his house the next day, and in one of his wardrobes, I saw a dark suit that would look right on me. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. So that was what I wore to the annual party.

　　The reasons I think are obvious. I had to, because it was required. So the right question should be: why did I pick this suit? Well, I think I just liked the color. It was dark gray, which always matches my complexion. And the fabric felt really comfortable.

　　Why I felt it was the best? Well, at least it was the best suit I’ve ever had. Alex told me that it was a designer name and he spent about 5000 yuan on this suit. I mean I wouldn’t want to spend 5000 on a phone! Another reason is that this suit really made me stand out at the party. I kept getting people’s compliment on this piece of clothing. For a moment, I felt like a super star!
